Let us introduce to you, Unity International Foundation, Flagami Action Committee and the Flagami Fiesta. Under the leadership of Bar6n Da Parre the Flagami Action Committee was founded in 1998 to work alongside the Florida DOT, and Local Government to assist the Merchants of Calle Ocho (SW 8 Street).
 
Since early 1998 baron took the initiative to have block meetings with Residents and Merchants of the Flagami area to listen to their concerns and serve as a liaison with the Local Government Florida DOT and worked side by side with Miami-Dade County Commissioner Rebeca Sosa, Miami Commissioner Tomas Regalado and many other government officials.
 
Through the years the Flagami Action Committee grew to represent not only the interest of the Residents and Merchants but to promote the Arts and Culture of our ever International Communities, and the launching of new opportunities to the young local talents to give them the opportunity to grow.
 
Unity International Foundation was founded and we became a non for profit organization, "Uniting our communities through the Arts and Culturg became our slogan Unity has been responsible for the improving the quality of life of the Flagami Area by working together with the office of Miami-Dade Commissioner Rebeca Sosa and the City of Miami NET office Fausto Callava and City of West Miami by keeping our streets clean.
 
 Unity International Foundation has also worked with the City of Miami and the Miami-Dade Police department to assure our streets is safe and we can minimize crime in the area and people sleeping in our alleys etc..

The Flagami area is located in the West part of the city of Miami and it encompasses approximately 5.8 square miles, consisting of primarily residences.
The Flagami population of about 44,591. Persons with about 11940 families, with an ethnic background of 4,335 non Hispanic Anglos 185 non Hispanic Black and 3983 of Hispanic Origin.
